- Venue for the ArgDiaP workshops: Institute for Philosophy & Sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences, IFiS PAN (the same location as the COMMA events)

Two further workshops (15 Sept 2018) are coorganised by ArgDiaP and the Polish Rhetorical Society. We offer parallel workshops on Sat with two different, but related perspectives on argumentation: (1) Methodologies for Research on Legal Argumentation (MET-ARG) dedicated to “Argumentation and Evidence”, chaired by Michał Araszkiewicz, Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland and Tomasz Żurek, Marie Curie Skłodowska University, Lublin, Poland; Invited speaker: Thomas F. Gordon Post-proceedings: special issue of Journal of Applied Logics – IfCoLoG Journal of Logics and their Applications; (2) Methodologies for Research on Rhetoric (MET-RhET) dedicated to “Conflict and Controversy”, chaired by Maria Załęska, University of Warsaw, Poland, Agnieszka Budzyńska-Daca, University of Warsaw, Poland and Agnieszka Kampka, Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland. Registration for ArgDiap Events is now open. Click below to register for either ArgDiap Workshop and the ArgDiap Conference.
There are discounts in the registration fees in case of participating in two or more WAW2018 events. See here for more details on the available packages. Note that P2 (5% discount) applies if you register for both the ArgDiap conference and any of the ArgDiap workshops by the early bird date (30th August).
If you register just to a workshop, but not to ArgDiaP conference, then in the registration form in “ArgDiaP Conference Registration Type” you need to select “No registration”.
The total registration fee, which appears at the bottom of the form and in the confirmation email, must be paid via bank transfer. Unfortunately, due to some Polish regulations we cannot accept credit card payments.
If you have any problems which delay your bank transfer, please send an email to Katarzyna Budzynska (budzynska.argdiap@gmail.com) with a confirmation that the payment procedure has started (e.g. a forwarded email from your University’s Administration team that the payment is being processed). As long as such confirmation is received by 24th August, your registration will be treated as early registration.
